Good and Bad
I think that everyday people make good and bad decisions, little or big, they are still a decision we must make and sometimes it is going to be good and sometimes it is going to be bad. Most people are good people who want to do good, but mixed in with those people are people who like to do bad. I don’t know why, because I don’t think I am a bad person, but never the less they make bad decisions that could end up hurting people and making people unhappy. What I just said also brings up the question of what is good and what defines a good person. Based on the society we live in the idea of a good person is someone who is generally nice, not to friendly and willing to help people in need. These people are all over the place. When describing a bad person, the task is a little harder. Needleman says we are “ searching…for a new purpose, voluntary to serve the good.” But as I said before the bad are out there and everyone has there own opinion of what is bad, even the bad. I hope that makes sense. I thought the part about the body and the soul being part of the reason you are good or bad was very interesting, but at the same time is tough to understand because we don’t want to believe we were born good or bad, happy or sad. That’s why the people who actually do stuff to be good, or bad, are at least speaking there action. To many people sit back and do nothing, just watching the world spin, when they could do something good with their lives.

In connection to MCCS, the kids there are labeled as being Bad, but people don’t really know that. Yeah they messed up a couple times, but does that mean they should labeled as a bad person for life, and if not, for how long, if at all. Going there and seeing the kids I don’t think they are bad. I think they have problems but they are all good kids for the most part and really just need some goodness in there life.
