For the last five or six years, gay marriage has been a hot button topic in poltics. The country is split almost 50/50 on the issue. But what if we didn't look at it like an issue but just as a human right to be with someone that you love for the rest of your life. Being in love is a wonderful thing, and not being able to legally announce that you plan to spend the rest of your life with someone would be devastating. Our narrative for our video is just about this, and the obstacles same sex couple must face when all they want to do is simply declare their love for one another. Our narrative also explore the idea of being rejected for who you are by your family, friends, and coworkers. Our video also explores how same sex marriage is accepted globally, since most think that same sex marriage is only a national issue, we often forget that it is global, and that people are of then treated worse then they are treated in the United States just for being who they are. The message that we are trying to send is that when you love someone it shouldn’t matter your gender, just that you want to spend the rest of your life with them.
